A.J. (Bram) Horenblas, LLM
Bram Horenblas is a criminal lawyer at heart. He earned his bachelor's degree in law cum laude in two years while completing his studies in history. In 2015, Bram completed his master's degree in criminal law.
Bram enjoyed his training as a lawyer at an office a corporate law firm. There he advised companies on financial-economic criminal law and health law. He has been building on this ever since. He has never lost his interest in social issues. In recent years, he worked in the criminal law section of the renowned Prakken d'Oliveira Human Rights Lawyers. In 2023, he founded Van Meekren Advocatuur.
Bram Horenblas publishes regularly on issues that arise in criminal law. A list of publications can be found below.
Since 2023, Bram has also been involved as a (guest) lecturer at the Law Firm School of the UvA. At the Law Firm School, motivated students are given the opportunity to work out a stimulating case from practice under supervision.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Bram is a member of the Dutch Association of Criminal Lawyers (NVSA), the Amsterdam Criminalists Club (ACC) and the European Criminal Bar Association (ECBA).
