New edition of the Pocketbook of Criminal Picketing

Edited by Bram Horenblas and Niek Hendriksen, the two edition of the Pocketbook of Criminal Picketing appeared on April 1, 2024.

The Zakboek strafpiket is the manual for lawyers during the picketing of adult suspects. It presents the framework as clearly as possible, partly by means of infographics.

The pocketbook also provides guidance on strategic choices to be made during the picketing phase. These have been compiled not only from our own experience, but also through interviews with leading colleagues.

Bram Horenblas, Niek Hendriksen, Alrik de Haas, Vincent Borninkhof, Erik Sikkens and Elodie Rijnja, we have updated and expanded the existing text. New features include:

▶ reference to recent (ECtHR) case law;

▶ a chapter on psychiatric disorders; and

▶ a list of commonly used contact information.
